Awards! Fast Company Executive Editor Noah Robischon Will Present Our Journalism Award

By Harold Goldberg

One of the New York Game Awards in which we take most pride is the Knickerbocker Award For Best Games Journalism. Eschewing the world of clickbait, non-stories, puffery and recycled press releases, Nick Capozzoli and his Journalism Award Committee search the world throughout the year for the best stories by the finest writers in their efforts to discover our worthy nominees.

We firmly believe the best games journalism should be placed in the realm of the best journalism. Period.

To that end, we are pleased to announce that Fast Company Executive Editor Noah Robischon will present the Knickerbocker Award to the winner at the New York Game Awards on January 24th.

Noah Robischon is an esteemed Columbia Journalism School grad who has taken Fast Company and Co.Design to new levels of insight, creativity and journalistic integrity during in his nine-year tenure there. And before that, he wrote elegantly about games (among other subjects) during his years at Entertainment Weekly (back when EW was really forward-thinking).

We’re really honored that Noah Robischon will join us on the night of January 24th. And you can join us on that landmark night as well. See you there!
