The New York Videogame Critics Circle is proud to welcome Chris Suellentrop to present this year’s Knickerbocker Award for Best Journalism at the New York Game Awards on 1/22/19.
Chris Suellentrop is a host of the podcast Shall We Play a Game? He is the former lead videogame critic for The New York Times and has written about games for Wired, the New Yorker, Rolling Stone, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, Slate, Kotaku, Polygon, and the Wilson Quarterly.
Chris has talked about games on CBS, ESPN, and NPR. He is also the editor responsible for putting Daniel Radosh’s story about The Beatles: Rock Band on the cover of The New York Times Magazine. (Radosh, a senior writer for The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, is one of the great former hosts of the New York Game Awards.)
Currently, Chris is the senior editor of Politico Magazine and is currently writing a book about videogames for Oxford University Press.
We’re completely honored to have Chris with us on 1/22/19, the night of the New York Game Awards. Tickets are on sale now and include a packet of free games!
