Today, we present photos of the 5th Annual New York Game Awards by Vincent Ballentine. Tomorrow,  we’ll feature another fine photographer who shot the show!

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt won 3 New York Game Awards including the Big Apple Award for Game of the Year. It’s tradition for everyone from the New York Videogame Critics Circle to present the Big Apple Award.

The Legendary Wyclef Jean dropped brand new music and a video from “Lost In Harmony” at the New York Game Awards.

Author Harold Goldberg, the Circle’s founder, Polygon’s Samit Sarkar and Gamespot’s Nick Capozzoli brainstorm before the Pre-Show.

“Book of Numbers” author Joshua Cohen regaled the audience with a passage from Melville before presenting the Melville Award for Best Game Writing.

Tom Clark (r.), lauded Lower East Side musician, played songs from Fallout 4 and GTA V. He was joined by the always steady Craig Chesler.

In the background, you see Mmachi Dimoriaku (l.) and Bethany Cintron (r.), our college scholarship winners from the DreamYard Prep School in the Bronx.

The simple signage belied the fact that this was a sold out New York Game Awards.

Tom Clark rocked the packed After Party which was sponsored by The Bronx Brewery. They provided a selection of beer for those who attended.

The New York Game Award was designed by John Azzilonna. He also designed our programs and the slide show you saw during the ceremony.
