Honolulu – It was night in Waikiki. The boisterous hubbub of the Disney-esque Hilton Hawaiian Village grew silent and fans flocked to the beach like it was a purposeful grunion run. But there was no spawning here, at least not visibly.
Pokémon throngs were on the beach to watch a drone show featuring their favorite pocket monster characters. Indeed, the site was both beautiful and stirring. Since The Pokémon Company supports our nonprofit work, I was there to soak up some of the color and excitement.
