Yay, Twitch! Once again, The New York Game Awards will stream on Twitch! If you can’t make it to SVA Theatre in New York, you can watch the festivities on January 22, 2019 at beginning at 7:30 p.m. East Coast Time. Twitch has been a loyal supporter of what we have done in the last eight years.
You can watch by clicking this link.
We stream on Twitch because they understand what we’re doing. The New York Videogame Critics Circle gives back to the community in many ways: with scholarships and mentoring of high schools students, with paid internships, with workshops for older adults, with readings and panel discussions at the New York Public Library system – and more.
Personally, I’ve watched Twitch’s growth with a good amount of pride. There’s pride because I realize that Chase, whom I’ve known since he was a games writer, has been an important part of the site’s massive evolution.
So be part of the celebration and watch the New York Game Awards live on our Twitch channel on January 24 at 7:30 pm East Coast Time. You’ll see Jade Raymond receive her Legend Award and watch our critics-made documentary about her. You’ll see world premieres for Heaven’s Vault, Treachery In Beatdown City, and more. You’ll hear Maddie Rice from Stay Human and Colbert sing nominated game songs – and so many game luminaries. All on Twitch!
