We’re proud and happy to announce that Devin Delliquanti from The Daily Show with Trevor Noah will host the New York Game Awards on January 19th. It’s become the tradition for the New York Game Awards to feature a Daily Show writer as host and we know Devin’s going to rock it.

It all began with The Daily’s Show’s Daniel Radosh,  who hosted our Awards for a few terrific years and who’ll still help this year behind the scenes. Last year, Owen Parsons graced the stage. And this year, Devin’s taut, occasionally dark humor will make you titter and guffaw at the New York Game Awards.

Devin cut his teeth in the business by producing, interviewing and humor at VH1’s live show, Big Morning Buzz. Now, he’s an excellent addition to the family of tight-knit writers who work each day on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. Just check out his stand up routine. My guess is he’ll even make you laugh with a joke about economics and Thomas Friedman.

So welcome, Devin! We can’t wait to hear the videogame-oriented comedy you’ll have in store for us on January 19th at the Abrams Arts Center Playhouse. A limited amount of tickets for the Awards are now available.
