New York Game Awards and GG! Fest ticket (which includes the big, Supergiant Unplugged live concert) are now available! Get them before they sell out!

We’re honored to announce that the Supergiant Unplugged live concert featuring Darren Korb and Ashley Barrett will close Day One of our two-day 15th Awards festival on 1/17/26. But today, we look back on the turbulent years of the early 2020s. The 10th Awards was the first to happen virtually, with Reggie, Harold and The Circle trying their best to keep spirits high during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the show looking majorly different than previous years, the same segments still occurred with the same amount of vibrant spirit as they would in person. 

One such segment has always been a highlight: The musical break before we step straight into announcing our biggest award winners. To start that year off with a renewed vigor, the musically gifted Darren Korb and Ashley Barrett recorded two very important songs for the Circle. The first was “Good Riddance” from Hades, a song meant to celebrate the casting out of old troubles and abandoning things that would weigh us down. 

The other is a fantastic blast from the past, “Build That Wall” from Bastion, which was featured at the 1st Annual New York Game Awards. The song almost mirrors the Awards ceremony itself, speaking about building strong walls and foundations to support those around you, while also aiming for higher heights as time continues to pass. 

Darren and Ashley are superstars with the recent Hades 2 having amazing songs thanks to their fantastic work. We’re excited to welcome them back to the stage at SVA Theatre not only for the 15th Annual Awards but for their own Supergiant Unplugged live concert the night before at GG!
