Inside The Circle: Bethesda’s Angela Browder Mentors Our Playing With Purpose Students!

By Harold Goldberg

Here at the New York Videogame Critics Circle, we want offer a hearty thanks to Angela Browder, Studio and Production Director at Bethesda Game Studios, for taking the time to mentor 15 of our interns.

While the virtual evening conversation wasn’t on the record, the topics Angela was asked about by our students included her pathway to success, all Bethesda Games, the upcoming Fallout streaming series on Amazon Prime, what it means to have a job as a producer, working with Vault Boy as a character, and the internal culture at Bethesda Game Studios.

After 19 years at Bethesda, the affable Browder, who started as an attorney in the realm of train law, speaks about games with as much enthusiasm as someone who is has just gotten their first job in the industry. Yet she tempers it with the knowledge and wisdom gotten from decades of hard work.

That’s why our students hung on her every word. And that’s why we’d love to have Angela mentor students again in the future. You’re welcome back anytime, Angela!
