The New York Videogame Critics Circle in the midst of its new Back-to-School initiative! As we enter mid-September, the Circle has only one question: Are you willing to help us reach the budding journalists out there through Playing With Purpose? If you are, we’d be grateful if you could donate to our fundraiser!
Playing With Purpose is our best way to give back to the community, but it needs help to continue to expand and reach even further than just NYC. We’ve been all over, from the South Bronx to the Lower East Side.
And now we’re pushing out to Hudson Valley in the coming months. Yet, the Circle feels as though Playing With Purpose can reach even more schools. It just needs that little bit of extra help to do so.
For those that follow our Social Media pages, you may have already heard that the Circle is planning a big Charity Livestream on September 19th.
We’re gearing up to have all sorts of personalities on camera, from Journalists to talented Esports challengers, and even some Celebrity Developers as well. Expect familiar faces and fun times as members of the Circle play games, do interviews, and interact with others from the gaming industry live on Twitch!
