Awards: All The Awesome Winners From Our 14th Annual New York Game Awards!

We want to thank all of you who attended The 14th Annual New York Game Awards with us in SVA Theatre and online. It was our most moving show to date as we showcased our nonprofit work with underserved students and the best games of the year. It was also our most popular show, and we’ll share those final numbers with you soon.

Astro Bot Crowned Game of the Year at the 2025 New York Game Awards

The award show also featured a tribute to Andrew Yoon Legend winner Sam Lake, with the debut of a new Alan Wake song from Mega Ran

NEW YORK – January 21, 2025 –  The New York Videogame Critics Circle (NYVGCC) recognized the best games, actors, journalists, and more during a lively night of celebration at the 14th annual New York Game Awards. Astro Bot flew off as the big winner of the evening, taking home three awards for Game of the Year, Best Music in a Game and Best Kids Game. Simone De Rochefort and Clayton Ashley (Polygon) received the prestigious Knickerbocker Award for Best Games Journalism, and Sam Lake was honored in a special tribute as the recipient of the 2025 Andrew Yoon Legend Award.
