Earlier in the week, some our young video game journalists took time to meet up, talk (and sometimes argue about) games and get assignments at the Market Line at the awesome Essex Market on the Lower East Side. They also were treated to Slice Joint pizza.

Among other things, we heard about Ronald’s love for Armored Core VI, Kimari’s thoughts about going to the Game Developer’s Conference next year, Isaac’s teaching of eSports classes, and Makeda’s unending appreciation for Wylde Flowers. Finally, Khloe revealed she’ll be reviewing Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2 for us. All in all, a fun afternoon was had by all.

At the end of the meetup, Theresa Afful won the Day One Edition of Silent Hope for the Switch. Star Hope will be the subject of Theresa’s next review.

We’ll continue these monthly meetups with students, and next month we’ll welcome a special guest!
