Come hang with us! The New York Videogame Critics Circle will have some new announcements to share – along with a brand new game to unveil – at WeWork’s 450 Park Avenue South location this Wednesday night. It all begins at 6:30 p.m., 5/15/19, on the third floor of WeWork’s 450 Park Avenue South location (between 31st and 32nd Streets).
We’ll also showcase The Lost City of Mer, an upcoming VR experience about mermaids, ocean life and climate change (trailer above). Game developer Liz Canner will be there to show it off!
One of our new announcements surrounds the next New York Game Awards. And there’s another reveal about our partnership with a well-known museum and yet another about our new education alliances.
We’ll tell the story of how the high school students we mentor got to meet Hideo Kojima at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Finally, Ted Houghton, our board CEO and formerly of the legendary indie Alice Donut, will be present. Ted rocks, too. Here’s his excellent new band, Cicada Campfire.
See you there on Wednesday!
