Scholarships & Community Outreach

The New York Videogame Critics Circle is a non-profit organization and we want to give back to the community.

We work with The DreamYard Project in the Bronx to offer mentoring, internships, lectures, job information and college scholarships to intelligent but underprivileged students. The DreamYard Project has been lauded by the White House and has been featured in The New Yorker magazine.

We will soon offer our scholarships and community outreach to other schools in New York City. We are looking into schools in the Newark, New Jersey area as well.

We also work with The Abrons Arts Center, where we hold our New York Game Awards and teach courses. We’ve also spoken at O.A.T.S., Older Adult Technology Services.

If you represent a school or organization who might need our services, please get in touch. If your company would like to sponsor us, please get in touch as well.

You can get in touch with us right here.
